Well im new to this Ive been a online sponcered poker player for almost 2 years now and have been pretty successful nothing major but plodded along steadily. Until now! April 2011 has been a disaster with Bad beats been a regular daily event happening way to often and costing me BIG $$$ and i no about variance etc but this was staring to effect my game so my friend suggested i started a blog a way to vent my frustration at my beats.
I decided to do this at five past midnight after taking a very harsh beat in the big daily game on Ladbrokes poker there 25000 euro guaranteed Rebuy tournament thats starts at 7 o'clock every night.
As the hand was dealt i was sat 17th of of the remaining 83 players when i pick up pocket queens in the big blind im sat with roughly 35 big blinds every one folds to the button who 3xs so i three bet him to a total of 7.8 big blinds. when he shuv's his 50 big blinds back at me. I dont like the call but decide im probablies good after three hours play against this player the cards are exposed my QQ v his AJ spades the flop comes down Q68 no spades and im thinking BINGO only for the typical runner runner bad beat about my 300th of the month.
Don't worry my blog isn't going to be about the moans and groans of bad beats because i know that every serious online poker takes more then his fair share of bad beats but thats why we love poker! this will be a short but brief first post but in future i will blog hopefully three of four times a week just keeping people up to date with day to day poker life and general day to day life so hopefully ill be back in a few days telling everyone how i have turned around my april and am now running like usain bolt !!!
